Miereles, King Kenneth and Fernando T

Reports from the Guardian suggest that we’re having difficulty getting hold of our shining opportunity in Luis Suarez – Ajax won’t come down in price and we just won’t go up. This comes at a crucial time in our potential turn around. If you haven’t seen the recent highlights of our victory over Wolves (and our personal victory of NOT losing 6 points to them), make sure you do!

Raul Miereles has come good in ways that Riera and Aquilani simply never did. His second goal was his second stunning finish, and he’s no slouch with his driven passes, either. If the form keeps up and they continue to play the way that King Ken wants them to – reportedly a more passing game: just like the Liverpool of old, might I add – then we’re in for a decent sprint for the finish this season.

There’s no chance we’re going to make a champions league spot this late in the day, but it’s about time we started to prove that we’re not bottom-of-the-table material.

The build up to Nando’s second goal came from a 31 pass move. That’s more like it boys!!!
