Gunners, gunners, gunners.

Just a quick note to share my dissapointment for last night’s action. It seems as though Porto and Arsenal had a bit of a personality swap as the gunners ended the game with one single moment of quality, whilst Porto rode their luck to the last second. With names like Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, and Tomas Rosicky on the pitch, you’d be hard pushed to believe it was Sol Cambell (recently returned from the depths of League Two side Notts county) nodding home in the 6 yard box.

Fabianski could easily have been man of the match had he been wearing the blue of Porto. He began by flapping a weak shot-come-cross from Varela behind his own line before handling an obvious pass-back from Campbell. Martin Hansson (a name we know well for world renowned blunders) gave a freekick inside the keepers area which was instantly converted by the quick thinking of Ruben Micael, who passed to Falcao for a slotted finish. 2 – 1 to Porto thanks to Fabianski and his Champions League nightmare. Campbell claims to have been held back by the referee as the goal was scored: Hansson up to his old tricks?

Cambell held back?

With the reponsibilities of Van Persie and Arshavin resting on the shoulders of Nicklas ‘Closer to the Corner Flag’ Bendtner, and no-one else in red with enough sense to hit the ball at the goal, I can’t see Arsenal going much further in Europe this year. I wonder how things might be affected in the domestic league!

  8. Houses are quite expensive and not everyone is able to buy it. However, loans are invented to help people in such situations.
